Procedure in Baking a Lip-smacking Chiffon Cake

Yes, I finally blogged my preferred cake ever since. Chiffon cake is one of my favorite cakes long time before because the taste is fine to me plus you could never feel resentment than chocolate cakes if mixed too much with cocoa. However, there are many people likes to eat chocolate flavor than chiffon cakes. People have different taste when it comes to cakes and yet we have the freedom of choices.

Why cakes are always present to any occasion? What does the taste represents? Speaking of cakes, the common taste of it is sweet, therefore; cakes represent the sweetness to both husband and wife not only to both but to all members of the family. Cakes can be eaten after meals as an appetizer, or it can be eaten as a snack. Cakes are a favorite food to a child otherwise to most people all over the world.
Similar to chocolate cake, chiffon cake are common in wedding celebration, birthday, anniversary and to any particular juncture. Sweet cakes like chiffon are a sign of sugariness to a certain husband and wife or to any individual who celebrates extraordinary occasion. I know that most of you knew already how to bake chiffon cake, nevertheless; can I share to you how to bake chiffon cake? Well, you can follow the entire steps; maybe this is different from your innate procedure in baking a cake before.

Ingredients:

2 1/3 cups sifted cake flour
¾ cup sugar
3 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup oil
8 egg yolks unbeaten
¾ cup of water, must be cold
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¼ cups egg white
¾ cup water
 ¾ cup sugar
½ teaspoon cream of tartar

Procedure in Baking:

You must filter together flour and baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well.  Add oil, egg yolks, vanilla as well cold water.Then beat until smooth. Beat egg whites until stiff peak form. Add cream of tartar. Add sugar gradually, continuously beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in batter mixture to egg whites mixture taking care not to stir. Transfer to ungreased tube pan. Bake at 350oC for 45 minutes to 1 hour. 

Variations:

·         Orange Chiffon—orange rind and juice
·         Chocolate-1/2 cocoa + 4 tablespoons more of sugar
·         Mocha—strong cold coffee about 3 tablespoons
·         Coconut—1 cup desiccated coconut.
